I bought a property in Detroit from Property4peanuts and can recommend them to other investors. The process was as described on the web site and I was kept up to date regularly throughout and my questions answered promptly. The stage payments are beneficial especially as the final payment isn't due until Property4peanuts have completed the refurbishment to code standard and there is a tenant in place.
The building blogs were also a nice touch enabling me to see the refurbishment progress. The general level of support was very good as additional help is provided such as transferring money etc.
I am in the process of buying a second property in Atlanta which is nearing the final stage.

I just wanted to say thanks for handling my purchase of an investment property. I know there were a few last minute issues with getting past code, but you sorted everything out and I'm now earning a handy investment income.
I'm a member of a local investor group and we meet once a month in a local pub - excuse for a good drink, really! I've bet my mates that my USA foreclosure property will beat their UK buy to lets in value increase in 1 year. They'd better keep some spare cash handy!

process took about 8 weeks and was more hassle free than I expected. I've purchased abroad before and so far this is one of the best investments I have made. When funds allow I will be looking to make another investment!

Having bought a residence in Detroit on the recommendation of an agent I was then introduced to the Foreign Property Shop/Property4Peanuts.com who I was informed would take care of all necessary arrangements in the letting of the property from start to finish. This included the redecorating, general maintenance of the property in order to bring it to a level of acceptability plus all the other necessary guidance for the renting out of the property. Whilst this process was taking place I was at all times informed of the progress being made along with photographs of actual improvements. I can honestly say that anybody wishing to do the same as myself could find no better company to deal with all these necessary arrangements. Basically FPS take out all the strain that can often be associated with the buying and renting of your property abroad and I would highly recommend this company.

I'm just back from a trip to see my property in Detroit - finally got out there. I just want to say I'm very pleased with the place. In fact, on seeing the house my first thought was what a shame it wasn't near me in England, as I would move right in! 3 bedrooms with a massive garage. There was even a big satellite disc on a pole in back garden that NASA would be happy with! Really impressed with the value for money.
I didn't bother the tenants as your rental manager seems to be handling it all well. Many thanks for your work. I'll be back for another soon.
